By accessing the MooseNet platform, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms governing usage, privacy, and security.

1. Scope of Services

   MooseNet is a private, invitation-only personal media platform offering access to curated libraries and related tools through services such as Plex and Ombi. Access is provided strictly for personal, non-commercial use, and only to individuals who have been explicitly approved.

   You may not redistribute, resell, sublicense, or otherwise commercialize your access. Sharing accounts or allowing access outside your approved household is strictly prohibited.

2. User Accounts & Authentication

   MooseNet relies on third-party authentication systems (including Plex) to grant access. MooseNet does not collect or store your third-party login passwords at any point; all credential handling is performed by those providers.

   You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your accounts and any associated devices. Any actions performed using your authenticated accounts will be treated as your own.

3. Acceptable Use

   You agree to use MooseNet only in ways that comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and community standards. The following behaviors are not permitted:

   • Attempting to bypass access controls, authentication systems, or security measures.
   • Sharing, posting, or distributing media in ways that infringe the rights of others.
   • Harassing, threatening, abusing, or otherwise interfering with MooseNet administration, infrastructure, or other users.

   MooseNet reserves the right to limit, suspend, or revoke access at any time if misuse, suspicious activity, or policy violations are detected.

4. Content & Intellectual Property

   MooseNet may catalog or stream media through personal libraries for private use. No ownership or licensing rights are transferred to you. You receive only limited, revocable access for non-commercial viewing.

   You are responsible for ensuring your use of content complies with local laws and that you do not engage in redistribution or public performance of any media.

5. Privacy & Logs

   MooseNet may collect limited technical information such as IP addresses, request logs, device identifiers, and basic playback statistics to maintain service reliability, ensure security, manage performance, and troubleshoot issues.

   MooseNet does not sell, rent, or share your information with third-party advertisers. Any data processed by Plex, Ombi, or other tools is subject to their respective privacy policies and terms of service.

6. Donations & Access

   Donations or support contributions help offset hosting, maintenance, storage, and bandwidth costs. Donations do not constitute payment for a commercial subscription and do not guarantee continued access.

   MooseNet may modify donation levels, benefits, access durations, or features at any time. Access remains voluntary, revocable, and provided on a best-effort basis.

7. Service Availability & Changes

   MooseNet is a privately operated project and does not guarantee availability, uptime, or uninterrupted access. Outages may occur due to maintenance, upgrades, hardware failures, ISP issues, or interruptions in dependent third-party services (e.g., Plex).

   MooseNet may modify, suspend, or discontinue any portion of the service at any time without prior notice.

8. Termination

   MooseNet may suspend or terminate access, with or without notice, at its sole discretion. Grounds for termination include—but are not limited to—suspected abuse, security concerns, harassment, data scraping, credential sharing, unlawful activity, or breach of these Terms.

   Termination decisions may be immediate and are subject to appeal at admin@moosenet.lol.

9. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

   MooseNet is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties or guarantees of any kind. MooseNet does not warrant that the service will be error-free, secure, compatible with all devices, or available at all times.

   To the fullest extent permitted by law, MooseNet is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use or inability to use the service.

10. Indemnification

    You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MooseNet, its owner, administrators, affiliates, and infrastructure from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use or misuse of the service, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of third parties.

11. Governing Law

    These Terms & Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with State laws and applicable U.S. federal law. Any disputes shall be handled in the courts with proper jurisdiction.

12. Changes to These Terms

    MooseNet may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Significant changes will be reflected the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the service after revisions become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
